| | I was at the hosital yesterday with my husband and I waited with him until he was taken in for surgery. It was just after 2:00 and I was STARVING. I think caregivers are important and their needs should be met. There was only candy and chips, etc., offered in the vending machines. What if it's really hot or raining and the person doesn't want to go outside? What if the person is handicapped and can't make it up the steps of the hot dog diner? What if they don't own/forgot/can't afford a cell phone and don't want to leave the hospital because they're waiting to hear from the doctor? She never complains even if you ask her for eggs from the kitchen. You need about 10 more like her. | | The amount that we are charged for food is dependent upon the mood of the cashier for the day. Some days we are charged double and some days not for the same quantity of food. The portion size is not marked anywhere, so how are customers supposed to know that one container costs. | | The food is horrible, and I don't understand how your company can say that it believes in "fresh ideas and the industry's greatest talent". there is nothing about any of that food that is fresh, and the "talent" in the kitchen can barely cook anything edible. Like the RAW!!!! chicken that was in my fried chicken sandwich. I know those things come in frozen, is it really that hard to follow the directions on the packaging. Especially when it can make someone extremely sick. And lets talk about breakfast, I mean seriously, is it really that hard to cook eggs. I don't understand how the biggest part of most peoples breakfast, and one of the most easy to cook, never makes it out onto the buffet. There is absolutely no excuse as to why eggs cannot be cooked and set out, especially when everyone knows they get made for the doctors. | | The biggest complaint is the fact that there is no eggs. Between the Staff, Doctors, & Guest, we are paying Customers. Eggs are a big part to a complete Breakfast. The Café is apart of our Business, our Census is Low at this Hospital & one of the reasons is because we have a horrible Café, no one wants to be here. I hear complaints from Families on a regular basis due to no eggs. This need to change asap! there's an constant excuse that the supply of eggs are limited. This is not true! you go into any other Hospital and they are serving eggs in their Café. The fact is, Venice Bayfront is renovation the Café and the Staff do not want to bring the eggs from the outside kitchen, its ridiculous!
